I live in NOLA and have never had the stuff. Outside of having it a someone's house, is there a place that's know for it anywhere in LA? I'd travel to check it out...

He went on and on about the stew, but he did say that the crawfish bisque was the best thing he'd eaten since he ate at elBulli.

Them's big words. Best things in the world: Ferran Adria's food, then some guy in South Louisiana's bisque, then whatever swill the rest of the chefs serve.
