Smoked a brisket a few days ago. Seasoned with only Kosher Salt and Cracked Pepper. No sauce on it. Was thinking of chopping some and adding it to this pot of chili.
Yay? Nay?

Looks good and I would eat it.
One thing. If you are going to the trouble of making a homemade chili and adding a well taken care of smoked brisket take the time to buy a block of cheese and grate it fresh, which normally costs less, takes 39 seconds to do and tastes light years better than the Pre-shredded cheese.
Just a friendly hot tip.

Thanks guys. Came out pretty good. No doubt Martini...however, this was a chili that was thrown together with stuff I had at the house. Didn't want to get out. I actually used a seasoning Packet that I picked up at Bucee's in New Braunfels yesterday. Cin's Chili... Lady that won Terilingua twice and had a showdown with Bobby Flay. I normally do mine totally from scratch, but wanted to see what a "championship" chili tasted like vs. My normal. I think hers had some different chilli powders than I have access to in Thibodaux. I need to stock up on some next time I'm in Tejas.

Sure, provided you add a few smidgens of ketchup on top before eating.
