If you can get past the incessant smokers cough or god awful accent he's not a bad teacher.

He's a terrible teacher IMO, but he does better with strengths than he does for dynamics.

I took it for an concentration elective and actually didn't mind it. If you know the routine for statics then 3400 is pretty straightforward. Do the homework and work problems for exams and you can get by with a B without much stress.

Let's keep it real too: find a solution manual to one of the book editions for its problems and work enough of them until you understand the material and you got it made.

Hated him. Hard to understand and Really isn't helpful..

Do the homework. There are solutions to the text book.

He has a million old tests, but you'll never find the exact problem he puts on exams. Work through the old ones just to get a feel for those test type of questions.

Go to class and TRY to pay attention and take notes.

Go to Jai's sessions..

Jai got me through college.

I think my Statics (with Jacobs) homework grade was like a 34%.

My test average was an 87.
Took my C and ran.

Hopefully Moorthy has improved his teaching since 2002. And taken a shower.

Took Moorthy for dynamics. Dude sucks. He always found a way to pick the hardest question to put on the test.

Now that I think about it Moorthy wasn't a bad guy but he his accent was terrible and rough sitting through. I ended up going to turn in home works, rolling out, and reading the book and problems. I'm pretty sure he stayed close to how the book explains it so you are fine strictly going the way the book goes for solving problems.

..That was the semester the Saints won the SB when I took it so maybe the over satisfaction in life was too much to sit through that class and no cares were given. Still got an easy B.

tough class but once you learn Moorthy's system you will be good.

Do all the homework. And learn how to do them.

Jai is expensive, but well worth it.

It's pretty much impossible to pay attention in class with his constant coughing and staring at the ceiling, but if you study his homework/quiz solutions before each exam you should be good.

I hated Moorthy until it all clicked towards the end of the semester. He turned out to be one of my favorite teachers. The class is hard so you will have to put in work no matter who teaches it.

No shower at all. And no doctors appointment for whatever that cough is and his eye problem. Not bad for strengths tho. Took dynamics fall of senior year with a job in hand once I graduated, didn't care at all so didn't pay attention. Got a c somehow, pretty sure I failed the final tho
