I got the beef done Thai style and brown rice. The beef was ok, I'd give it a 5/10. Could have used more sauce. The rice was disgusting. I probably won't be back unless I'm in a fix. Nine Dragon and China Taste son this place

How was the rice disgusting? Kind of hard to mess that up, huh?

It was really really dry. Just not good. The bell pepper in the entree was kind of undercooked too.

So you ate two different dishes off a menu that has about fifty items on it, and complain about the rice(what kind?) as it is disgusting. Don't give up you day job because you suck as a food critic with this massive failure of a thread. RA your self.

Sorry if you're a fanboy and I rustled your jimmies. I said the entree was really average and the rice sucked. Everyone claimed that this place was better than the little local joints and its not even close to Nine Dragon or China Taste. Panda Express is even better

Did you happen to take any pics? How much did your entree cost? Was the service decent?

I could take pics of the disgusting rice that is in my garbage can still. Prices were pretty reasonable. About 8 bucks for a lunch sized entree. I got my order to go and that went quick but dine in looked backed up

We went the second night it was open. I got the Caramel with shrimp and fried rice and my fiance got the thai dynamite with chicken. Both were excellent! We tried the wonton soup which tasted more like pho than wonton soup, and in no way am i complaining. I'm not the biggest asian fan in the world, but I will gladly eat Pei Wei once a day if it means I never have to go to Nine dragon again.

Tried the Metairie location, and it was overpriced, mediocre food. Everything was too salty and too sweet--no really distinctive flavors. No fresh garlic or ginger. Within 20 minutes of leaving the place, my better half had a borderline asthma attack, so the food's full of something (sulfites? MSG?)

All that aside, the traffic flow through the restaurant, the ordering system, and the table runners/bussers are first rate. Just wish the food was better.

Clearly you don't know what brown rice is.

Just because Nine Dragon's fried rice is brown in color and full of grease doesn't make it brown rice.
