I've tried that way, but I usually use the egg shells to separate it.

Yep, the shells, just flip the yolk between one half and the other till the ends are met. Another easy way is just run the egg through your fingers.

I've seen a similar video before, but never think about trying it.

I think (hope) they were just trying to emphasize the 'oo' sound and didn't use enough o's- like looooooser!!!
