I am talking the best. I am already behind the 8 ball being I am the father. I want to make damn sure my rights are protected and I have custody of my child. A pain pill addict should not have custody but we all know men get screwed in family court.

If at all possible get proof of doctor shopping or / pill buying. As in a PI having pics and get copies of prescriptions etc. Do this before you drop the divorce bomb.

Got all the proof I need. She was arrested and had her license to work suspended because of said investigation by her employer and DEA.

Phil Kobetz.....but be careful with top attorneys, you can spend a lot of coin trying to prove what you are after. even a couple of failed tests won't get you the kids. you have to prove the kids are in danger when with her or she is doing pills while the kids are in her control. I'd hate for you to spend tons of money and all she has to do is go to treatment and retain the kids. she will fight fir custody because that's how she gets paid by you monthly. it sucks, but get an attorney asap and start collecting all the info help ask u to get

If the thing is adversarial, take no prisoners in attaining settlement. You can always be generous afterwards.
Where well-being of the kids is concerned, ensure they are addressed in the best way for them (whatever that means in your case). The best outcome for them does not always mean best outcome for you, btw.
This case sounds extreme though.
Sucks. Sorry fellow.
