Need to get one when in NOLA today for the SO. Where can I get a slice of doberge? Don't need the entire cake or I'll be done for the week by her.

If you want an exotic choice, call up Toups Meatery. They have a "bacon" doberge, FTW!

Sucre serves doberge by the slice, whatever there cake of the day is.

Some grocery stores do (I think Robert's is one of them).

I was thinking I may have seen them in Rouse's too, but I don't recall. Did a little googling and Debbie Does Doberge seems like it may be a winner if I can track down a slice.

This! Also the pistachio. Toups meatery get their doberge from Debbie Does Doberge - and it is glorious. Everything about Toups is freaking spot on. I love it!

Martin's Wine Cellar on Elmeer in Metairie has several different cakes by the slice each day. Often, chocolate doberge is an option. I'd call 'em and ask.

Robert's has little doberge squares, they are the size of a petit four. Lemon and chocolate. They're pretty good.

A cake that should be on the Vaticans list of cardinal sins.
