Anybody here shoot federal fusion ammo?

Grouped well out of my tikka 7 rem mag. ended up going wt the 150 gr. shot a doe and she ran about 30 yrds and folded up. Dont think she knew she was dead bc she didnt move after she went down. Anway, I always see people talking about ammo on here and very rarely see this ammo mentioned. Should I try to find something else or stick wt it? I shot the fusions, win bal silvertips, rem corelok, and hornady whitetail b4 i settled on the fusions. all 150 gr except the whitetails were 140.

I have some for my .308 but haven't shot anything with them. I've heard several others that really like it. Just have to decide if you want ballistic tips or not.

I shoot the 200 gr fusions out of my .35 whelen. Grouped pretty well. Shot a doe with it and she ran about 150 yards. Mainly because I pulled the shot and blew out her guts!

Federal fusion groups great out of my tikka .308 and out of my Sako .243. It knocks down any deer I have shot at with my .308, and I have only shot a yote with my .243. The yote ran off but I had a yote do the same thing with my .300 win mag shooting nosler partitions. Damn things were both facing me when I shot.

I shot em out of my 270 short mag until last year i just loaded some Barnes tsx

I shoot them out of my 7mm-08 and 280. Except for this deer, I haven't had to look too far for the deer I've shot. With that being said, they don't leave the kind of blood trail I like either. I was lucky to see exactly where each deer I shot ran into the woods. I shot this doe broadside at 80 yards with 7mm-08 and she left very little blood on the ground. Searched all night and the next morning found her in a creek. She ran probably 100 yards. Shot another doe with my 280, she ran 50 yards. You couldn't have filled a shot glass with the amount of blood from both deer combined. This is exit hole. I'll probably try a different bullet next year.

I have been using a box of it in my .308 the past 3 seasons or so. I like it. Havent had to track anything shot with it more than 30 yards or so. Majority of the does I've shot with it flopped where they were standing.

I've seen a few deer shot with them.
Not sure if I like them. Vastly better than core locts, but I'm still undecided on whether or not I think they're all that great. I'll have to see another year's worth of dead deer to decide. They've all exited but I haven't seen one that hit the shoulder joint yet. From what I've seen so far I wouldn't be scared to use em.
Federal blue box is still #1 in my book.

Great stuff. Been shooting it for a couple of years. Will continue to shoot it as long as I can find it in 7-08 and .243.

My dad gave me a box for my .270 for Christmas. Will probably find out this week.
