re: Thinking about getting a new rifle soon...need help - 4mileduckman
Have a 30-06 that was my dads. But I don't take it in the field. To much sentimental value to me. Like the 308 but I have lots of 30-06 ammo so it gets the nod. Bout the same ballistic wise. I already have a tikka 7 rem mag that I have done a lot of improvements too. And a 7-08. Want a 308 since I ...

re: Novice Hunter - 1st Rifle Purchace - 4mileduckman
308 is pretty versatile as far as weights and availability but 270 is great too. If ur planning on bigger than deer game a 7 rem mag is a good choice. 7-08 30-06 are also solid and easy to find. Good starter rifle is ruger American unless ur budget is higher than 400. If that's the case weatherby va...

re: Browning AB3 Hunter Bolt Action - 4mileduckman
Carson is right. The tikka t3 is the best. It's what I shoot. The synthetic lite version can be found in the 550 range. My second choice would be the weatherby vanguard s2. It's in the 500 range. Both sub moa guns. 7-08, 270 or 308 are prob the best deer rounds for people to start out wt for a varie...

re: Anyone here drive a Nissan Armada? - 4mileduckman
Man we were set on getting one in October. Had a platinum picked out. Light blue , tan leather, captain chairs in mid row , tv's in head rest , sunroof etc. but my wife drives 50 miles round trip for work and that old 5.6 just sucks gas down. So I showed her a platinum pathfinder with all the bells...
