That was my my temporary anchor for him while I grabbed something to kill it. Christmas popcorn tins are good for many things other than buttery, cheesy, and caramel goodness.

Well, if there's one baby, there's probably more of them around. It's not like mama snakes give birth to just one. Oh, and it might have been in the house looking for a nice rodent meal.

Juv Texas or grey rat snake. And you shoulda just grabbed it and tossed it outside. Now you will get over run by rodents lol.

Awesome. Another moron kills a snake that kills disease carrying rodents. Hope they chew through a wire and your place burns down.

Rat snakes are very docile and play a very important role in the ecosystem. For future reference I would let them live.They won't strike you and are easily handled.
