hill country Texas, probably something closer to 500-1000. Again, this is just for fun.
Assuming around Dripping Springs? Anywhere in that area you should hop on Marketplace and see what someone is getting rid of. A 24” cook chamber will make a world of difference over a 20”. ...

Depends on budget and what you are trying to accomplish. What area are you from?...

Been about 6 years since I’ve been to Roegel’s but I remember enjoying it back in 2018. Tried J-Bar-M today while passing through for something new besides Truth, thought it was ok. Ribs tasted pretty good but were a little tight. Sides reminded me of Terry Black’s, kind of an afterthought. ...

Blood Bros was terrible when we went. 3 of us were totally disappointed after looking forward to it. ...

re: Smalls Sliders

Hadn't had Smalls in probably a year. Stopped at the original the other day on the way to work and I didn't even make it through one slider. Everything went in the trash. Used to enjoy going when they opened as it was nothing special but it was consistently good....

You are correct in he does take walk-ins. Quantities are based on pre-orders, but he always plans for additional walk-ins. ...

I never went to Unleaded based on pictures. Don’t think you’ll ever see Gonzo’s move to BR. He has a loyal following, people willing to make the drive. He also has great relationships with people In multiple industries there, chemical plants, the Saints. No reason to move really. ...
test the internet and band scan machine prior to the gates opening.
That was frustrating for us as well because Hogs owns the POS systems. We did get 2 systems this year so hopefully it won’t be twice as bad....

Spot A36,Porkbellt Cartel, for the best tacos and bbq out there! If y’all are feeling really lucky then get in on our team raffle. I do agree with some others though, some people take it entirely too serious. ...

With all of the issues with Dead Air I would personally stay away. Silencer Central manufactures their own line for larger calibers, but you could also look at the TBAC 50 cal suppressor. I think SilencerCo also has a 45 caliber suppressor. ...
Technically, the 1.375”-24 threads are the standard for attachment into the suppressor, i.e. HUB adapters. I believe that was standardized by SilencerCo with the ASR mounts (I think). Now it’s the industry standard.
That’s exactly the point. I have keymo mounts sitting in my safe t...
Can you change a suppressor from needing a keymo to direct thread?
Keymo should be the standard thread pitch, should be able to unscrew keymo from the can and screw in a direct thread adapter. Unless your adapter in the can is permanent. ...
I've used the ASR mount, it was ok. Also changed over to the Keymo, wasn't a huge fan. I've decided to convert anything I would use on my bolt guns over to the Area 419 system. Standard threads so can use it on multiple brands, take the can off and attach a brake in seconds if wanted, adds very litt...
Even though I haven't handled a new Remington, with the availability and aftermarket support that is the route I would go. ...
Who knows if in 10 years it's still here? I'd stick to a caliber with plenty of options. Bigger = 7mm rem mag or 300 win mag
I don’t see it going anywhere, it’s quietly replacing the 7mag. I don’t need a selection of 35 bullets if there are 5 that perform well and are more accurate...

I would skip 308 for out west and go straight to 7prc. It’s my build in the queue, only thing it gives up to 300 prc is energy. Much flatter than 308. Personally I wouldn’t swap from 6.5 to 308, check out offerings in the 147-156 grain variety depending on your twist rate. ...

re: Help with first suppressor

Posted by ruger35 on 12/7/23 at 6:13 pm
Determine what your main goal for the suppressor is? Do you want the quietest 30 cal suppressor possible? Tbac Magnus. Do you want something for hunting and weight/length is more important than suppression? If it will go in multiple guns get something with the HUB system and I like the Area 419 syst...
