What Should We Do If Syria Strikes Back at the U.S.?
If I'm not mistaken they are already attacking us. They have launched cyber attacks on a number of U.S. web servers. This causes economic damage to the owners of those servers and is in a very real sense an attack on American soil. If they blew up a bridge on U.S. soil it would be considered an attack even if no one was hurt or died, wouldn't it?
If cyber attacks are an act of war, then we would be at war with China, Russia and any number of isolated hackers. Seems to me you are going out of your way to justify Obama's foot in mouth disease. I've said it before but I will say it again, there were: 23 U.N. resolutions regarding Iraq, Saddam had kicked the U.N. inspectors out of Iraq, a vote by our Congress authorizing action and a significant coalition of allies before action was taken against Iraq. Furthermore Saddam had used chemical weapons in a war against Iran, had used chemical weapons on his own people and had invaded Kuwait disrupting oil supplies throughout the entire Middle East. Yet, your ilk condemned Bush and Pubs as war mongers. And now you support a military strike against Syria over a civil war that is none of our business over the use of chemical weapons before the U.N. even presents a report without even a single resolution and little support from our Congress, the American people and any allies. Give me a break.
