damn, that looked like a really good feast.
I had my first and second Lobster roll last week. My first was a cold roll at Luke's NYC and my second was a Connecticut style at a stand at the Southport street food fest.
Maine style is cold, Conn style is hot. I liked both. I need to eat more lobster.

I had some at a famous road side stand in the Hamptons and was not impressed. I made these with the leftovers from the above lobster and they had better flavor. I added some corn to give it better texture...

I cooked a bunch last year, I boiled and grilled. I much preferred the grilled, but others liked the boiled. I would probably try steaming over boiling in the future...
Man o man does that look like one heck of a feast! I must try this! I love lobster but hate going to a restaurant and having one and paying out the arse for it. Where did you get them...did you say you were checking with someone to see if they still ship them? How much were they if you dont mind sharing.

Surprisingly enough from Craig's List. They came from a lobster guy in the business in either Maine or Massachusetts. I got all those for ~$200 including overnight shipping. It was an experiment to see if I would get any lobsters or just waste money. After I got mine a number of other people called and ordered. Everyone that I know that order got what they ordered quickly and alive...
