Is Robert Gates still President of Texas A & M

If so, he is defeating the arguments made by the Republicans re: Benghazi. The F-16 flyover would have been futile and possibly deadly to Americans.

Gates was CIA Director under Bush, the elder Republican.

He was Secretary of Defense under Bush, the younger Republican, replacing Rummy.

I'll bet Chaney is mad again at these comments. He had Rummy under control (Svengali) but not Gates.

Well that settles it. Nothing could have been done to save the lives of 4 Americans.

Who cares if our adminisration lied to us for political gain?

What difference does it make?!?!?!

What were his comments about an f16 flyover? We did this many times in Iraq and Afghanistan and I'm at a loss to recall any fatalities that resulted.

quote:

When Gates was asked whether he thought that [Clinton engineering a coverup to protect her political future] might be a possibility, he replied flatly, "No."
Gates imbecilic response speaks for itself.
Either he's lost his mind, has some sort of medical condition affecting mentation, or was abusing a substance when he made that statement . . . . or he's simply lying.
