I guess. Except for the underhanded comment about "how we do things in your state".

Methinks you read a little too much into my comment. Your comment that the judge would be making a decision on revocation before the petition to revoke is even filed wasn't what I expected to see. All I noted was if that is how it is done...roll with it.

I would hope he would skate without any further punishment....I would also hope that it would be because he dropped off a retainer with me. Money > Team loyalty

If that is the way y'all deal with it in La., good on ya. As I previously said, I hope the best for the young man. Recidivism is a terrible thing.

Please, Alabama deals with Updyke by giving him 55 days. Don't lecture us. The DA offices in Bama are a complete joke due to the lack of funding.

It would be shocking if we (general public) even heard about it.

I could see that potential arrest going down:

Sherriff: "Well boys will be boys. That's the price of tea in China. If ya mess with the elephant, ya git tha tusks"

Deputy: "Roll Tahd.. Move along everybody, nothing to see here!!"

A state District Court judge Tuesday added new conditions to the probation of suspended LSU running back Jeremy Hill, including a curfew between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. and a requirement that he avoid bars.

Seems easy enough. But you'd also think staying out of legal troubles for 2 years while on probation would be easy enough too. So having a 20 year old be in by 9 pm is gonna be tough.

same road as Cecil Collins and Honeybadger.
Those are not the same road. Mathieu was a kid that liked to smoke too much and didn't have the discipline at 20 to cut it out. Collins was a mentally ill criminal that repeatedly molested women (even after leaving LSU). Mathieu was a dumbass for sure, but he's nowhere near Collins' league.

Still about that &*((@# waste of talent . . . best RB I've ever seen play the game.
