Hill will have a probation revocation hearing soon, where a judge will decide if be violated probation. Most times, a misdemeanor does not warrant revocation. She will probably decide there was no violation of probation, Hill will be picking up lots of trash this summer, and he wont see the field the first two games.

Not going to comment on the semantics of ethics, morals or any other factors outside of legal ramifications, as I saw the video and I dont approve of the actions

Sounds eerily similar to what I heard a few days ago

But I thought all the geniuses on here told me that Hill would be serving jail time.

Its ultimately up to the judge, if she sees no reason to revoke the probabtion, hell be good to go.

Its funny because I know some rantards and other team's fans will think he's getting "special treatment" or act as if he's getting off light even though 1) that's a pretty shitty/stiff penalty for a college student and 2) a curfew and some sort of abuse program is most likely the regular penalty for these sort of misdemeanor incidents

he'll also probably have a couple game suspension to start the season, too

people have been blowing this way out of proportion since the beginning.

A state District Court judge Tuesday added new conditions to the probation of suspended LSU running back Jeremy Hill, including a curfew between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. and a requirement that he avoid bars.

quote:

Bernie said Tuesday that prosecutors likely will file a motion in the coming weeks asking Jackson to revoke Hill’s probation. “At this point in time, that appears to be appropriate,” Bernie said, “but I’m still gathering all the information.” Hill could face up to six months behind bars if his probation is revoked. Bernie said she could not yet predict whether prosecutors will push for Hill to serve jail time. “I’m looking at everything,” the prosecutor said.

While true, to say that he is "in the clear" is a tad bit misleading.

Anyway, good luck to Mr. Hill. I hope he is afforded all of his rights and has a defense counsel that is vigorous in support of his position.

The video shows, he only came around the side of the dude and threw one lick. Hardly worth revoking probation... He should have worn some less conspicuous clothing though
