The scene at the beginning of Night of the Living Dead where the zombie uses a rock to bust the car window and get Barbara gave me nightmares as a kid.

Ju-On... Japanses version of the Grudge. No CGI, just good makeup and creepy kids.

When I was little, Cujo scared me pretty bad.

And the remake of the Omen, Mia Farrow was pretty creepy too.

Poltergeist.

I can't look at a snowy TV screen without getting goosebumps or a shiver up my spine.

I watched Event Horizon in the 6th grade. That movie scared the PISS out of me.

IT messed me up so much as a kid that my family and I had to sit on the couch and read Bible verses.

I guess I was 15 when I first saw Angel Heart. Somehow, someway, I didn't pick up the big reveal until the very end and it freaked me out pretty hard. It seems so obvious now.

But The Exorcist has to be #1.

This. I saw this movie with my sister for the first time at the Galleria in Metairie. We would always leave this theater out of the back exits, which lead to a stairwell that went to the parking garage. These exits weren't used much, so when we left that way after seeing Silence of the Lambs it was just me and her in there. We were scared as shite and ran down those stairs.

The Grudge

I know a lot of people hate on it, but I watched Paranormal Activity when it wasn't released yet nation wide. Baton Rouge just happened to be one of the areas they released it early. I had no preconceived idea of how it was going to turn out and I did not sleep for 48 hours.

My most honest answer?

Never Ending Story scared me when I was little.

Then The Shining
