re: KoTH Fans- Question About Arlen. - Tiger3048
The town in the show obviously got more stuff in it as the show progressed... they needed more stories and characters. But I picture Arlen being like one of the little suburbs of Dallas or something. Or like Denton or McKinney....

re: Gone Girl question SPOILERS - Tiger3048
My big problem with the stuff in the shed was that couldn't Ben Affleck just say "dust for fingerprints, neither mine nor my sister's will be there. Just Amy's."? Unless she covered that too and it wasn't in the movie....

re: Something you're still sour/butt hurt about to this day in ANY sport - Tiger3048
Oklahoma just saved y'all a similar beating. They had just beat you 23-0 the previous year in your place and they did it with a much younger team. That much younger team would have had two full seasons to mature because they hammerered y'all with a lot of freshmen making their 1st start since...

re: Will Auburn surpass Bama for the most wins in the Iron Bowl - Tiger3048
Let's do the math. Auburn trails by 8 now, right? 43-35-1? If Auburn wins 9 out of the next 10 it's tied 44-44-1. Not happening. It's 5-5 in the last 10. 15 years Auburn would need to win 12. That would make it 47-46-1 AU. Auburn is 9-6 in the last 15. 20 years, Auburn needs 15. That would ...

re: Top Single Seasons Performances last 10 years - Tiger3048
The West was just as strong that year as it was in 12 as well.
2010 was the strongest the SEC West has ever been. People talk about having the top three teams the next year, but Auburn, Ole Miss, and MSU weren't good that year. in 2010 Bama was 10-3 and finished freaking 4th in the...

re: What is the craziest spring break story you have experienced/heard - Tiger3048
A buddy of mine bought all his beer/liquor in Alabama and tried to go across the state line into Florida with it. There was a road block, normally nothing to worry about. But these guys had all the beer clearly visible in the car. Cop told them he couldn't let them take it across the state line, but...

re: Let's have a look back at the BCS days (1998-2013) - Tiger3048
The only reason they got in that game was that The Citadel backed out of their game with Auburn to play Oklahoma and the only replacement team Auburn could find on such short notice was Ball St.
That's a little backward. Bowling Green bought out its game with Auburn to play Oklahom...

re: Most impactful play from the Nick Saban era? - Tiger3048
The missed FG by Oklahoma State vs Iowa State in 2011. Or the INT in the endzone by Stanford vs Oregon in 2012. Both plays allowed Bama to get back up to #2 in the polls after losing in November and win titles. Without those two plays, it's likely LSU vs OK St, and Notre Dame vs Oregon....

That was the last day of classes in Auburn before exams started -- my last day of class ever as I was getting ready to graduate that spring. re: Auburn freshman HB/TE Jakell Mitchell shot and killed at a party. - Tiger3048
I looked at those apartments when I started at Auburn, and I had friends that lived there when I was in school. They're not bad apartments and I never felt unsafe there at all. Just two really, really bad incidents happening there. I'd bet this was another out-of-towner coming in and starting troubl...

re: Syracuse having a "pee down leg" moment - Tiger3048
Hate Syracuse. I work with a ton of grads who worship at the altar of Boeheim. They shrug off how he's a douchebag saying "but he's our douchebag". And then when the Orange actually lose a game, half of them don't show up to work the next day because they're such babies about it. Even with that o...
