1. Stern- only has lost early regular season games
2. Selig- learned his lesson after they lost a world series
3. Bettman- three lockouts and one lost season under his watch
4. Goodell- might preside over the death of his sport as we know it...

Stern

Bettman(out of ignorance, I'd assume he can't be as bad as others... Plus it's only hockey )

Goodell (he gets a small pass for being dealt a shitty hand with all of the impending lawsuits, previous issues that were likely swept under the rug causing his now near constant overreaching.... I still HATE the guy)

Selig(just seems to do nothing and still suck at that)

what I find encouraging is that of the four Goodell is arguably the worst commish and he's not an unathletic Jewish dude that never played the game he presides over

1) Bettman : the league and all teams have become viable businesses under his watch. Ratings have been fantastic this year despite lockout and has made the NHL a better more entertaining product.
2) Godell: hasn't fricked up
3) stern: NBA has become a worse product under his watch
4) selling: MLB is a complete disaster and a worse product under his watch - used to be America's past time

not a fan of any of them.....

here's my list if I had to make one.....
1.Seig
2.Goodell
3.Stern
4.(I dont recognize hockey)....

Goodell should probably be #1, just because of the pure popularity of the sport. Stern has lost his step and I'm not sure if the way he is promoting the game these days is the way they should go. Seig is #1 because baseball is baseball....it goes on with it's business...

Yeah i am guessing Ironsides hasn't been paying attention to the con men approved as owners by the NHL, loss of entire seasons, no payment for NHL games tv contracts, number of NHL clubs in serious financial difficulties or anything else Bettman has done over his tenure

In fact the weak vetting process for NHL ownership under Bettman and his unfortunate choice of NHL markets to be exploited may make him the worst COO in the history of sports leagues

there is no one close to being as bad as bud selig. i despise the man and the job he's done. i will never again watch a brewers game, even on tv.

he ruined the houston astros and was very much wanting to shrink the league eliminating montreal (washington now), miami and kansas city. this was at a time when his team, the brewers, was drawing roughly the same number of fans as those three.
