Looking to eat healthy tonight. Debating where to go or if we should just pick up ingredients and make our own. Any suggestions?

Zoe's and Maxwell's have good salads. Although you may be better off picking up the ingredients for a dinner -- could be cheaper on the long run

I like to make my own. It's cheaper in the long run and you can have leftovers for the week.
Lettuce/Spinach/Kale
Tomatos
Raw mushrooms
cucumber
berries/apple/citrus
walnut/sunflower seed/pecans
avocado
You can make your own dressing. I use olive oil, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, balsamic vinegar, garlic and pepper.

In there right now. Both the Tickfaw and Plantation look extremely good.

Maybe that just makes us twins.
Great minds think alike.

Pretty fricking much.
My favorite salad is a roasted beet salad with goat cheese, nuts, and a fruity vinaigrette.

Never cared much for beets until I tried this salad. Love it now.

I have never eaten beets and you've got me wanting to try them. Where can I get a salad like that?

Oh, and the duck confit salad at Stroubes is awesome. Unfortunately, it's only on the lunch menu.

Beausoleil has one, but it doesn't have lettuce. It is just the roasted beets with goat cheese. Still delicious. Something about the beet with the goat cheese together with arugula and a nut is awesome. I don't even need dressing.
Bonefish attempts one, but it's not as good.
Best I ever had was my first one at Patois in New Orleans with lump crabmeat and blood oranges.

I love all the salads at J Alexander's.

My favorite salad to make is
Butterleaf lettuce
Thinly sliced red onion
1 can of three bean salad or mixed chili beans, rinsed
Tomato sliced in thick wedges
2 or 3 Carrots sliced into 1/2" rounds
1 can of albacore tuna, drained
Toss the salad and top with La Martinique Bleu Cheese Vinaigrette dressing
It's a hearty salad and the flavor of Bleu Cheese goes well with steak if you prefer to substitute with sliced beef.
