I am cooking in a crawfish competition this weekend and there is a Dis and Dat catergory. What is the best or strangest thing you have eaten out of the pot? We have done pork chops, pineapple, lobster ravioli(which won first place).

Have had eggs cooked in the boiling water that were good, not boiled eggs, actually cracked directly into the water.

Martini does the whole chicken in panty hose and makes chicken salad.

We've had a few threads on this, but I can't remember too many things I hadn't heard of before.

Artichokes
Asparagus
brisket
broccoli
whole heads of cauliflower
Pork Ribs

Brisket is an idea but I imagine it would take a while to get tender?

It has to be something cooked in the pot with the crawfish, or can it just be something cooked with crawfish in it?

We're throwing one in two weeks at Mardi Gras world if anyone is interested in showing off their chops.

Bugs and Brew 2013

Great music, 7 cask ales from all the local breweries, and lots of crawfish. Anyone have any questions, email my username @gmail.com
