Where do you keep your cooking utensils?

I recently went on a spending spree and I've more spoons spatulas and what not than will fit in a drawer. I'm sure there are people here in the same situation so where do you keep it all if it doesn't fit in a drawer?

Buy a big tall glass jar.

I just try to continue shoving them in the drawer, to the point that the drawer gets stuck partially shut, unless I find the magic combination of placement of all the various utensils.

I keep my spatulas, tongs, etc, in a big coffee cup. It's worked so far.

When I was looking at Julia Child's kitchen in the Smithsonian, I noticed her brilliant use of peg board so I installed some in my kitchen and haven't regretted it. Not only are my pans readily available, but all tongs and utensils are now visible and easy to grab. No more clutters in the drawers or churning through them to search for something.

Holy crap, do you think you have enough pots and pans? You could cook for a month and never have to wash one. I've never seen anyone with that many cooking vessels.

OK, now that's funny. I'm laughing real hard at myself right now!

I had to buy restaurant shelving for all my pots and skillets

I couldn't post a pic of my kitchen with that creepy Gaston guy checking out our homes.

He was the first person I thought of when I saw the picture.

Cool idea, but that looks like complete shite!

Then don't do it to your fine trailers kitchen. I built a pot rack out of hooks in the ceiling and chains in my kitchen years ago. That thing freed up tons of cabinet space in a tiny kitchen.

Most often used stuff is in a ceramic container right beside the stove so that it is within hand's reach when needed.
Unfortunately we have four drawers of other (cooking - not eating) stuff that we don't use often enough to merit placement beside the stove.
never know when you might need a grater in each of your eight hands, so we have eight of them.

We have something similar right beside the stove. It's a tall, heavy ceramic-like cylinder that contains many of our utensils. Of course, we still have many in a drawer.

Utensils - Everywhere. Pots and Pans - Hat Rack.

If there are holes in the handles, buy one of those magnetic strips that you can attach hooks to.

In addition to drawer space, I use a crock for spatulas and wooden spoons.
I love Julia's pegboard for pots and pans! A few years ago I bought a stainless steel utility shelf unit for my pots and pans. I keep it in the laundry room.
It is much more cluttered than this now (picture taken right after I bought the thing). I have a couple more Le Creusets and a roasting pan and a more up to date crock pot.
