At his age and stage, neither is attainable ...

This thread is done, but keep the smut out of it anyway.

Little touchy tonight? Old Geautx and I are buds, he'll think it's funny. Sorry if it offended.

Not touchy. That's not my kind of humor here. I'm sure OG will love it. He's a guy. Post whatever you want to him. Apology accepted. Have a lovely evening.
Hope this gets anchored. It's run it's time.

False advertisement. This is closer to spaghetti than a red gravy

i'm confused here .. why is Gris Gris so pissed at other people's input on their preferences in their spaghetti and meatballs ? isn't this board about an exchange of ideas, recipes, etc. and not a shrine to laud the culinary acumen of five posters ?
LOL .. the picture thread is anchored ..

exactly what I thought this board was all about.. I mean people were telling me to put peanut butter in my chili. I didn't flip. Although it sounded odd as hell.. maybe they were just trolling me since I'm an OTer

they weren't saying anything malicious .. she just got her granny panties in a wad over all posts that didn't tell her she was the greatest or loaded with " ", " ", or " " emoticons ..

Rag, I want you to know that you're the greatest.

I think the dish looks great FYI. I'm curious, do you always do a "meat sauce" when you cook meatballs? If I cook meatballs or put sausage in my sauce, I just use a standard tomato sauce. I find the redundancy of the meats over powering.
Just a question.

I do not. I only do it in this recipe. Thought it was strange myself when I first made it, but it worked and the flavor was delicious as a result of all the meats, so I left it alone.

I anticipated this to be the result the first time, but it wasn't.
It made a delicious meatball sandwich/sub whatever. I had some Rouse's muff bread which is different from the usual bread and not as large. I made a little less than half a sandwich. I brushed the cut side with olive oil in which I'd steeped some garlic and toasted just the cut side of the bread. Halfed the meatballs since they were large and added those and some sauce. Melted provolone on top. The result was a fine version. If nothing else, the meatballs with the mixture of veal, pork and beef are excellent.

Might be right. I'm not an expert on the definition of red gravy. Makes more sense that it wouldn't have meat and would be just a gravy, but I went with the recipe title. She calls it a gravy right or wrong.

I call it delicious, whatever it is.

I bet it feels good to call people names on an anonymous messageboard. Kind of like flexing your muscles in private in front of a mirror. Carry on.
Rag, it tasted better than it looked, but it was really good as a meatball sub or whatever you want to call the concoction I made on muff bread. I never thought meatball subs looked too appetizing, but if the rest taste like what I had, I'm sold. For my taste, it needs to have Italian bread of some sort with sesame seeds, though. Amazing what a difference those little seeds make.
