Patrick, OK, expected, but Thomas, that's a surprise.

Damn Payton must've paid extra attention to Patrick in that Dallas game. Kinda surprised by Thomas though.

Kind of surprised at this one. We have no depth at the position. Seems like they would have waited to sign someone before releasing Patrick.

Release Thomas draft Linenkugel dude from Auburn.

I'm kind of the opposite. I thought Thomas might be a cap casualty. Patrick had a rough year, but he's still young and talented. I guess they saw enough.

you're right. we have no depth because he sucks. dude was a hinderance everytime he was on the field.

I am sad to see Double Stack go though

I'm very surprised at the Patrick release for some reason. I thought they would wait and see.

Wonder if Higgins sticks or they go for a mid-round TE.

Feel the same about both guys.

Glad the defensive purge is actually happening, though.

Im so tired of having to hope obvious scrubs will get better.

Same here. I figured David Thomas was gone. Shocked by Patrick...I thought they would give him another year as a young, cheap option.
