Nah, High Life/Budweiser... I dont really drink craft/micro beers...

Honestly, I didnt care for it but I really dont care... they pretty much rotate the other 3 taps with Guiness being the only constant...

R2R just came in and shite on everything in the thread and it looked like fun... I wanted to try it out..

I loved the show.
It is so great for a national show like this to come in and get that commentary and have most of the focus be on non Bourbon St. places.

The comment he made about the guy on the plane who had just quit the big name NY restaurant to come to work in N.O. is a reality. People are flocking to the city these days.

I liked it. It was a good representation of what a 30 something could expexct to get into during a day and half stay, if all he/she was gonna was eat and drink.

Especially the line about New Orleans Dauquiris. Training wheels for alcoholics/my daughter would love this.

I enjoyed the episode. R Bar made me laugh since that's a stones throw from me. Did a good job with surrounding neighborhoods, was even suprised they went to the bucktown area. I loved the hippie joke about satsuma vegetarian restaurant in bywater/marigny area. I do enjoy thier juice drinks, and always wear my bush/cheney '04 t shirt just to give the hipsters heart attacks.

This was a great great episode. Probably the best travel show on the city I've seen.

Did Bourdain or Davis say that? And while I enjoyed the episode, the premise of the Layover is BS. They might as well get rid of the stupid clock/countdown, as the producers make no effort whatsoever to play along with the 'limited time in a city' narrative. Unless Bourdain actually ate at 40 restaurants in 3 days or whatever

I enjoyed the show. Thought they did a good job of highlighting the fact that most tourist have no clue about NOLA past Bourbon street. I liked the one guys comment about if you want to act like a douche you should just stay on Bourbon cuz the locals will just run you out their bars. Probably saw about 12 places I've been to in the last month some of them multiple times. I wonder if this will drive some tourism into neighborhood joints now. The FQ as we know it might be dying.

I saw 2 people I knew in various places on the show. Big city/small town in full effect. This + Mardi Gras is making me homesick as frick.
