The best line from the aged ribeye thread:

quote:

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Of course, this may kill you.

How has nobody mentioned the widely spread belief that Johnnys was better than any pizza in NYC. Oh and how Johnnys would take over BR if we only had one. (Before we got one)

FWIW this is the worst statement I have ever seen here:

quote:

I've told you that we hang meat in screen porches for various periods of time, sometimes for 4-6 days. This is WITHOUT refrigeration, where sometimes the afternoon temps reach into the 70's

From that steak thread.

The cure for cancer is somewhere in that guys Blood.

This was from you in there Catman:

quote:

Normal aging is around 28 days. If you were going for that with this method Id recommend taking that bike ride then go around and kiss each family member before eating the rancid steak.

Oh, and have you ever been to Italy? What about the OG Culinary Institute? What about their Council meetings?

No? Oh, okay.

this was not on this board, but another board when the topic of favorite beer came up

quote:

Bud Light or Busch. The way beer was meant to taste.

It troubles me when so called breweries ruin the taste of BEER as it was meant to be. You can have your FOO FOO beers.

No, I've just visited their school over there. It actually was much... better than Institut Paul Bocuse, Cucina con Vista, and Casa Vecchie.

Those are great, too, though.

Someone posted that if they went to a party or crawfish boil and there was only BMC beer, then they just wouldn't drink.
