Does anyone know what the licensing process is to become a inspector for motor vehicles? I have googled it but I don't think I'm wording it correctly. Does anyone have info or experience on this? Thanks for any info

Hahaha I'm thinking the same thing which is why I'm interested. I work for a fire extinguisher company and I was servicing a guys "inspection shack" and he was telling me he does 20-50 on days it doesn't rain and off on days he does.

That was my other question. I know a lot of it is cash but they have to put everything in a computer system so I was wondering how much does the inspector get of each one

Works the opposite for me. I expect a rubber stamp when I get inspected, because that's what that time is budgeted for. If the guy is obviously trying to drum up bidness, I never go back. If he wants to recommend something that might need attending to after the fact, he'll more than likely get the work. Just me.
