Didn't know he played football.

I like the show except for the preaching. You can tell it's scripted, but it's funny anyway.

what's wrong with them being outspoken on their faith? we need a little more of that in this country and less Teen Mom, Jersey Shore, Toddlers and Tiaras, etc.etc......

Phil Robertson and family have shown that being the salt of the earth is still cool...and having strong families is what makes this country strong...not dysfunctional families that live "drama" all the time...

just my .02....if you don't like the family prayer at the end...turn it off...

Yep

They do a very good job of representing our state IMO.

Nothing if you're into that shite. But, I'll bet you'd like a duck hunting show about a bunch of muslims a little less.

I'm not a christian. That doesn't mean I watch jersey shore. I actually don't turn the TV on most days.

It depends. As long as there were not segments about jihading americans or anything, I'd like to think that I'd be cool with it.

yeah like when they walk outside a store and some random guy drives up on a lawnmower in overalls and no shirt? Very good representation of the state.

I love Phil, I've met him a couple of times and he is authentic as it gets, but I just cannot stand watching the show. It is just so ridiculously scripted and contrived.

They weren't the ones doing it.

All they themselves ever do is represent the state in a good manner from what I've seen.

Good point. But at least shows that do not fall under the "reality TV" blanket have real actors and you are not suppose to believe that these scenarios actually took place.

It is scripted. But funny. My kids love it. We watch it and laugh the whole time.

Better than the Disney junk that they watch.

I like the show, I find it comical. If you go in with the mindset that "reality" tv is anything but it's not as aggravating.
