If you believe that something like that would occur or even be taken seriously, then you need to step back and get some perspective. The entire ridiculousness of it was to show that at some point, laws will get passed that will address the problem. If dog hunters aren't progressive thinking and a part of finding the solution, they will lose their sport eventually. I've hunted all my life and hold it dearly. However, like it or not, it's not a right. It can be taken away and hunters at each others throats on serious issues does nothing but weaken their overall stance when it comes under attack.

He's full of shite. He hasn't given me a deer since muzzleloader season last year and I'm his best e-friend.

Ok. Yes, I was serious. Several hundred dollar tax on dog species, and in addition to that, a tax, on dog hunting properties only. I'm that far left. Perhaps, we could not only have a land fee on dog hunting properties, but the penalty for dogs caught on other properties, would be forfeiture of the dog hunting property to the adjoining property owners. That would eliminate any future potential problems, since that landowner would have shown he is incapable of leasing to responsible individuals.

I still want to tax your feeders. $250 a feeder.

I have no problem with that. I don't use feeders.

Making my 250 acres that I paid for with my own sweat and blood actually huntable without constant interference from my neighbors with 100 acres?

Sounds like you should have done better due diligence. They dog hunted in that area long before you bought property, didnt they.
if so do you believe everyone should lose there dog hunting privilages just because you started hunting the area.

I do agree that they should have at least a 1000ac
and someone attempting to dog hunt 100ac is an idiot

At least that has something to do with this conversation.

Seriously? You have no problem with taxing feeders? Or dogs?

Hell lets have a tax for every time I take a shite in the woods.

Absolutely. Langston said I was, and it wasn't an over the top suggestion to prove a point. Dead serious.

No need for when you do. However, there would need to be an environmental fee for your dogs if they did, seeing as you are responsible for anything they leave behind.

Anyway back on subject.

I wish I could take these angry folks on a dog hunt and change their opinions of it.
