I have a good cornbread dressing recipe in the Recipe Thread.

Corn bread as noted above, dirty rice dressing, spinach madeliene, mirliton and seafood(crab and shrimp) dressing.

I LOVE this stuff. My ex made some that is great! Mine is almost as good. I have not made it in a while.
My favorite Thanksgiving side is my moms oyster dressing recipe.
Simple, but oh so good.
Saltines, butter, oysters and heavy cream, layered in a casserole dish and baked.
I can nearly eat the whole pan myself!

Bacon wrapped green beans are pretty damn awesome.
I just cut a pack of bacon in half and wrap four or so canned whole green beans in each piece, placing the bacon flap down. Bake until the bacon is browned. Be careful removing from oven.
Sounds kind of gross, but it's great for the decadent holiday meals.

Because the whole beans in a can actually work very well for this and maybe even better. I top with some brown sugar.

Piccadilly's Carrot Souffle would be a hit. Just don't tell them what all goes in it.

That is what we do here. My grandmother used basically the same recipe and so does my mom. IDK where the recipe came from, but I have had it all my life.
She makes cornbread dressing, but the oyster is so good, I can almost do without the other.
