I just spent over $400 for out of state license to MS and haven't purchased waterfowl stamps yet. Is there another state in the union that costs this damn money for non-residents?

Missouri is $150, fwiw.

Nope. MS and LA hate each other when it comes to reciprocity for hunting licenses.

Texas atleast lets you buy Turkey separately ($120). Just to hunt turkeys in MS is $320. not even worth it if you dont plan on killing deer

Missouri is $150. I guess the bottom feeders in the south are making a killing.

Same here and still do. I think it's dumb that we have to buy the license if we are hunting on our own land. We don't even shoot more than 2 deer a season if that and kill all legal deer. It's not that we don't see deer. We just don't shoot everything that walks

It is ridiculous. I have to pay that much to hunt my own land and land owned by the USA (National forest).

It should be like a drivers license; get one in your home state and drive anywhere in the whole country.

I got a lifetime license while i lived up there.

I thought missouri was over 200. But that includes both seasons.

FWIW i paid 900 for elk/mule deer tag in Montana.

Also, out of staters pay out the arse for La fishing license so most states reciprocate by jacking up hunting license.
For example: alabama out of state fishing license for a few days is like 5 bucks for most states. For La its like 10x that. Noticed this when I was on the gulf shores pier

In Tennessee, residents pay over $100.

I am MS resident, with everything including WMA and federal stamp is about $75.

They don't sell non-resident lifetime licenses anymore, unless you were born in Mississippi. I bought a non-resident lifetime license the last year they offered it for $3,000. It's been 13 years or so since then. Been hunting for free for a while.

I went to get my Non Resident LA hunting licenses at Bass Pro in denham a couple weeks ago...knowing full well I was about to be raped on non-resident fees...but the lady told me if I could show proof (via birth certificate, etc.) that I am a Native LA resident, then I get to pay resident fees.

Funny becuase the LDWF neglects to mention this on their website...
