| Most fun offense to watch if run right in Football? (Posted on 11/7/12 at 8:36 pm)
I like watching the Flexbone being run by a team that's not afraid to cut or give to FB knowing it will break eventually. As far as a single team this year, Oregon is just entertainment.

the offense I used to run on NCAA 07. It was a combination of the I form, the option, and spread passing of of play action. Man could it score points on a video game. In real life, I'd have to say The Saints offense last year or Oregon.

I like watching Flexbone teams cut the shite out of opposing defensive ends and linebackers and watching those ends/linebackers complain play after play In 2009 when Navy beat the shite out of Missouri in the Texas Bowl Missouri's players focused more on complaining about the low blocks than trying to beat the low blocks, which is why they got destroyed Oklahoma in 2010 did a lot of complaining vs. Air Force and almost got beat

Agreed. I like watching Air Force and flexbone type teams. Those teams are probably no fun to prepare for, and certainly no fun to play if you're a DL. Constantly getting cut blocked and having to watch your knees. I'm not a fan of the spread offenses all that much - reminds me too much of high school ball since so may teams use it at that level.

Patriots. It is just sick how they can attack any weakness a team has. Saints are a very close second. "frick you, I'm throwing the ball".

Air Force was great to watch in the late 90's - they had a few years when they had some good teams.

Dee Dowis ran it pretty good. I think the 2 best I have ever seen it run were by 1-AA guys (Tracy Hamm and Deandre Smith) the true wishbone the best I ever saw was Jamelle Holloway, with JC Watts a close second.

Oregon currently Texas Tech when Leach was rolling Flexbone when it's looking easy West Virginia with Rich Rod and Pat White Petrino's offense when it's clicking. I loved when he'd bring out the dagger after a turnover.

It's incredible to see offenses evolve to the point of, as Gruden put it "all the Head Coach can do is turn around and yell at the defensive coordinator" but my favorite will still be a great line, running backs, receivers and QB patiently steamrolling their will upon any scheme.

Offenses are not really evolving. Go look at film from the 40's, you'll be surprised.
