He is a championship QB. He had a flawless game on 1/9, and made championship plays on 11/3.
Saban and Miles have terribly different styles, personalities and philosophies, but Saban's only true advantage has been his ability in the last several years to recruit/retain composed, championship level QB's.
Mett might get there, but Saban's QB have already arrived.
It is as simple as that folks. Switch QB's and the results of the last two meeting change.
McCarron is a GREAT college QB, and will probably be a solid Pro also.
It's all about McCarron...Let's pray he goes Pro after this year.

This. AJ had less than 100 yards passing until we went into prevent on the last drive. Mett's destroyed "the worlds greatest defense".

Championship level QB's make the big plays in the big moments when they are needed most. On 1/9, McCarron did great the whole game. On 11/3, he rose up in the most key moments and made it happen for his team. I think Mett had a great game, and he obviously had great stats. I'm not talking about stats.
Remember Robert Horry in the NBA? When championship opportunities presented themselves to him he achieved like a champion and sank the 3 pointers.
I have plenty of a clue.

Like Horry, Mccarron rides the championship talent like a horse. A team full of players with Mccarron's talent = Mississippi State at best.

Your name says it "freak" you don't have a clue. McCarron is a great quarterback but please stop with the switch the two and the games are different. Mett out played him all night Saturday but Mett wasn't out there playing prevent defense to allow that score.
So did McCarron make the run into the end zone? Did he call the play? No, he simply threw a 3 yard pass that turned into a TD.
He completed one, ONE pass the whole second half until the wonderful prevent defense showed up.

Mccarron was average all year last year but benefitted from an easy schedule and a great defense. He lost the only game that mattered last year and was mediocre doing it. He got an undeserved rematch ad that's when he did good.
He's played we'll against another weak schedule but once again sucked it up against the only team on their schedule.
We gave him that last TD

Thanks for that insight, Mr. McCarron.
My 40-year old brother-in-law could have made those "championship" throws that A.J. made on that last drive as soft as LSU's "D" was playing.

Do you really think Alabama played their A game?
Sure LSU helped Alabama looked bad, but Alabama made mistakes too like the two unforced fumbles and all the missed tackles and mental mistakes that the defense made. LSU brought their A game, and still for whatever reason lost to Alabama's B- game.

Lucky for Bama they miss USCe, UGA, and UF. They have a two and a half game season this year. @LSU, Texas AM (the 1/2), and the SEC title game.

If you followed my posts, you'd know that I don't talk much about the Gamecocks unless it's the negatives. My post has nothing to do with the Gamecocks. You dominated us, but we just like Alabama did not play our A game. Difference is you won, and out quarterback couldn't come through when we needed him to.
