re: Who was the best defensive coordinator to coach at LSU? - tuptiger
Pelini is not close to being in this convo. Go look at the yardage stats on him. Even in 07 we got shredded a few times. Saban was the best. Aranda is largely a product of his own making as a DC. He's the best other than Saban...

Predict LSU in Draft and your outlook... - tuptiger
1. Adams: 1st round. Top 5. Perennial Pro Bowler. All Pro. I see NO WAY he's a bust. 2. Fournette: 1st round. Top 10. Comes out the gates strong. Second contract he takes step back. Considered one of top RBs in league early in his career. Makes a few Pro Bowls. 3. White: Late ...

re: Who is the next QB from Louisiana that is a program changer? - tuptiger
Isn't there a guy from Shreveport, maybe Calvary, who's like class of 2020 who's considered top flight? Also Finley and Keilon Brown I like Gunnell a lot. I think he's underrated at top 50 in the country. ...

re: We should really gauge the interest of Malik Zaire - tuptiger
Agreed. No brainer. He starts for one year. Brennan/Narcisse redshirt. Open QB competition the following year. I wouldn't mind adding Zaire and Malik Henry as well. Henry would have two years of eligibility. Then Brennan and Narcisse can redshirt and sit one more year. ...

I agree. I started a thread about him last night. Looked really good. Like maybe even starter level good. ...

re: I don't get the Tua praise... - tuptiger
It's not about not liking him, but in truth, the stat line should probably read 2 TDs and 4 INTs. Just wasn't crazily impressed. He looked like a true freshman to me. He's got plenty of time to develop and his passing ability would probably be helped by a contact scrimmage, but I wasn't that impr...

re: I don't get the Tua praise... - tuptiger
One of those TDs was pure luck. It easily should have been picked. It was behind the receiver and got tipped. The DBs dropped it and it ended up in a receivers hands. ...

I don't get the Tua praise... - tuptiger
He looked pretty inaccurate. He should have been picked at least two more times. I thought Mac Jones looked much better. I get it was no contact and that negates his legs, but based strictly on today's setting, I don't get it. He's got a weird delivery as well. Doesn't look to have a very str...

re: If you had to pick 1 former/current lsu player to return a punt, who would it be? - tuptiger
No Beckham in this list? It'd be Beckham or PP7 to me. TM7 had 2 great returns, but on average, give me those 2 for PR. ...

re: How do you feel about seat belt laws? - tuptiger
Don't like them. It's government intrusion. Doesn't affect anyone other than the person not wearing the seatbelt. The insurance rate argument is absurd. Car insurance pays out for damage to vehicles. Not affected by seat belts. Health insurance pay outs are the only thing, but by this l...

Bold predictions for 2017 season... - tuptiger
1. DJ Chark explodes. Gets drafted in the 1st round. Becomes viewed as the best receiver since Beckham/Landry. He's the best blend of size/speed we've had in a while to me. Wouldn't be surprised if he ran sub-4.4 2. Grant Delpit starts by mid season at safety. Becomes the next great safety...

re: Biology, Chemist and Biochemist OTers: Help me understand weight loss. - tuptiger
Basically, your body is constantly breaking down glucose. Glucose gets oxidized and goes through glycolysis, the Citric Acid Cycle and the Electron Transport Chain. Fatty Acid Oxidation can feed into these pathways. At the Citric Acid Cycle, oxaloacetate combines with ACOA to form citrate. I...

re: If you're freaking out about RB recruiting, go watch Patrick... - tuptiger
The point of this thread isn't that Queen is Fournette. But, he averaged over 10 YPC. He's 6'1 210 and runs high 4.4 range. He could easily play RB for LSU if it came to it. It won't, but he could. I love him at LB. He hits violently. ...
