re: What's the OTs opinion on suicide? - tuptiger
I volunteer with the mentally ill. It's pretty sad sometimes. I know a clean cut guy. I his twenties. Spontaneously begin having delusions. It wasn't drug induced. He was on the road to attending professional school. He ended up totally isolating himself because he was so paranoid. Was in a...

re: What's the OTs opinion on suicide? - tuptiger
I'm not saying it's necessarily the right move. But, it's seemingly becoming more popular. I don't judge people for doing it. Sometimes, people get to a point where they are totally alone. Lose hope. Can't see the future. Etc...

What's the OTs opinion on suicide? - tuptiger

re: Answers in Genesis presents: Noahland - tuptiger
If you're asking me am I a sinner under the biblical definition of sin, I am. Everyone sans JESUS is. But, by that logic, everyone would be dead because of sin because all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. And all sin is equal in the eyes of God. ...

re: Answers in Genesis presents: Noahland - tuptiger
I guess as a punishment for sin because death entered the world at the fall of man. I don't understand it in light of the following verses: [link=(https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John+9%3A2-3&version=NKJV)]LINK[/link] JESUS claims a man born blind was to glorify the father. It ...
quote: No. I can tell you at length about the love and teachings of Christ
I don't see it in my life at all. I get free will. But, non genetic and non environmental diseases are a large question I have. I get someone who drinks heavily getting liver cancer. I get someone ...

re: Answers in Genesis presents: Noahland - tuptiger
What do you mean when you say God can't be around sin? I ask because he created the devil. Granted, you'll argue that Lucifer had free will, but it's not like Lucifer was born out of the free will of a mother and father. He was an angel. ...

re: Answers in Genesis presents: Noahland - tuptiger
If God is omnipotent, why did there have to be something to replace animal sacrifices? In the same way a God, who created the universe, in theory, could flood the Earth because he is all powerful, why would that God, who is all powerful, be necessarily committed to replacing animal sacrifices? ...

[link=(https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1+Corinthians+13%3A4-7&version=NIV;KJV)]LINK[/link] We deserve death. But, CHRIST came to save everyone from their sins. I get it. I just don't necessarily believe it any longer. I don't understand before CHRIST. So, he is the way the...

re: Answers in Genesis presents: Noahland - tuptiger
The question isn't whether if a God existed could he flood the Earth in my opinion. By being God, the very nature of it is he can do what he chooses. If God is love, and love is kind, why would he kill so many people in a global flood? I have a difficult time accepting the global flood fr...
What annoys me are the majority of religious people who dogmatically accept the religion taught in their youth and have never honestly sought answers.
Of all the people who accept evolution, how many have seriously investigated it? I agree with you. But, taking that same stand...

re: Obama going HAM on Radical Islam language - tuptiger
It's a total obfuscation. He's claiming that saying "radical Islam" accomplishes nothing, but the point is that he doesn't recognize the root of domestic and foreign terror. It's largely about his worldview. He also spun the immigration ban into a ban of all Muslims. It's a temporary ban he ...

re: Any ideas on how to liquidate WalMart gift cards? - tuptiger
I went and bought an IPad Air for $426. Used $400 hoping that they would put cash on the receipt after I paid the remaining $26 in cash. They didn't. This is bull shite. They listed gift card. Now, I'm hoping the employee just overlooks the gift card part when I return it. That was my best...
