Izzo's is opening a restaurant here in Bossier city at the end of the Month. I had never even heard of this place until a buddy of mine (ex lsu student) told me how wonderful their food is.
Of course i dont trust him.

I only trust the Food and Drink board's opinions.

How does it compare to like Moe's and Chipotle?

I prefer Chipotle.

You'll certainly get more food at Izzo's, but it's not like you would leave Chipotle hungry.

Izzo's and Chipotle are both a cut above Moe's. I like Chipotle. They do what they do well. Their guacamole is really good. I think Izzo's is a notch above them, based on having more options. You get one choice of tortilla flavors at Chipotle (flour), while Izzo's has 4 (flour, wheat, cayenne and spinach). Toppings at both places are very fresh. Again, Izzo's has more variety like fresh jalepenos, sauteed onions, grilled mushrooms, none of which you can get at Chipotle. I like Izzo's house made sauces (illegal and Habenero). Chipotle has Tabasco bottles. Izzo's pork > Chipotle's pork. Chipotle's chicken > Izzo's chicken. Steak is a wash. Izzo's has grilled shrimp. Izzo's has queso.

Chipotle is probably the closest to Izzo's in terms of fresh ingredients, but Izzo's takes it beyond with more options. That said, I rarely leave Chipotle disappointed either. But I do like having the other choices at Izzo's.

Chipotle
Izzos

Moes

Izzo's is good. Where in Bossier are they opening? Might have to cross the Jimmy Davis and check it out.

ETA: Just looked it up. Opening N of 220 on Airline right by Academy.

Texas sucks and so does UT.
