Anybody check out the L'auberge buffet yet? Sorry if there is already a thread on this somehweres. I searched but could not find anything.

Casino buffet, what could possibly be good about it? Besides crab legs and fat people, love me some fat people.

Just checking. I won $700 there the other day on a couple hands of black jack and got comped a buffet.

Probably wiser to never go back and just keep your $700, but if you're already planning on returning I'm sure there is something edible on the buffet. I don't go casinos or eat at buffets, but to each their own.

went to the one here in LC a couple times for shits and giggles, haven't been in yrs so not sure what has changed. They used to have a good steak rest but that has changed for the worse from what I hear

Went Sunday for brunch, the answer is a big NO. 18 Steak is good though if you can use your comp there.

My post was spot on. He shouldn't go FOR the buffet, but it's free and likely something on the buffet will suffice for food.
It's a dumb thread anyway. You know he'll be back and use the comp, he just wanted to tell everyone he won $700.

It was a serious thread. I didn't win $700 either, I just felt like being a jack arse because you were. But hey man I'm full of love. ETA: Maybe I do not like to eat alone...Maybe I would go and use my free one and buy my lovely lady one? Think!

I went and checked out the casino and was going to eat in the sports bar, what ever it's called.
An employee stopped me and gave the Buffet his biggest recommendation...
I'll kick that dudes arse if I ever see him again!!

It was the worst meal I have ever had that didn't include canned products and a campfire.
We had a bowl that we filled with everything we couldn't eat (inedible). It was overflowing. I know it's new but it was 47 freaking bucks for 2 people before tip and it was horrible. They had a rare to medium rare piece of meat and I asked the guy carving it if it was Roast Beef, the guy told me... "Brisket". I didn't try mid rare brisket or the clams. I was scared!
I did kill the ice cream...
