re: Psa -Ozark Trail at Oneal Walmart - Dtiger19
I'm no yeti fan boy either but the yeti coozie works. The ozark tumblers are the same as the yeti tumblers but the ozark coozie sucks. I'm sure it would work just as good as the yeti if you could get the fricking tops on though. ...

re: Psa -Ozark Trail at Oneal Walmart - Dtiger19
They make the koozies but they suck compared to the yeti koozies. I have 2 and it's a pain in the arse to get the top screwed on. It's like both of the ones I have are misthreaded. Also have 2 yetis that work great. ...

Grand Isle this weekend - Dtiger19
Supposed to head down fishing this weekend. First trip of the year for me. Is it gonna be a waste to go down with the weather this weekend? Any tips on areas to fish with the wind this weekend?...

re: NC- Backpack trip - Dtiger19
I was there in June with my wife. We went about maybe 3 hours in on the deep gap trail. Everyone we met on there way back had camped the night on the trail. I doubt it's something you would want to do in a day. The elevation change makes a difference. Mt. Mitchell is the highest point east of the MS...

re: I ventured over to The Dark Side yesterday... - Dtiger19
Most cheap rental kayaks are totally different from high end fishing kayaks. The high end fishing kayaks are very stable and comfortable to fish out of. My first yak was an ascend and while it was easy to paddle its night and day fishing out of that compared to my KC. I'm sure others will tell you t...

re: I ventured over to The Dark Side yesterday... - Dtiger19
KC kayaks are super stable and easy to fish out of. I stand in mine and have never really came close to flipping. I guess it depends on where and what type of fishing you are doing. For just floating creeks and rivers I think a KC would be perfect. If you are covering a lot of area you might want to...

re: 6 nights in Key West - Dtiger19
Eat at Santiago Bodega. Rent bikes, ride around and bar hop. Cork and Stogie and The Porch for craft beer. Rent a jeep and drive to Islamarado for a day. Go fishing with Dreamcatcher charters. Irish Kevin's is fun at night. That's about it. ...

re: Asheville breweries and restaurants - Dtiger19
Just got back from Asheville. As others have said Wicked Weed has great beer and food. Funkatorium, Burial, and Wedge are breweries I would recommend. Sierra Nevada's facility is amazing and something worth seeing. New Belgium is nice but more of a modern type facility, not that that's a bad thing, ...

Kayak leak - Dtiger19
My KC12 has been pretty full of water the last couple times I fished out of it. How do I find the leak and what do I use to seal it? I've heard that they have problems leaking in the seams and scupper holes, should I just seal those places to start?...
