can't disagree with that. He's hella more stable, that's for sure.

More talent as a musician. Cobain was so successful as a front man because he fit the image.

I don't get how cobain got this reputation as an amazing songwriter personally. He had a couple decent songs but nirvanas best tunes were covers imo

I think Cobain is a much better songwriter, and that is the most important thing to me. So Cobain.

I'll side with Cobain. He was a great songwriter, and I thought he was getting even better. In Utero was fantastic from a songwriting sense. However, as someone above pointed out Alive > Dead.

In the sense that he's a more stable person and form what I know, knows how to play more instruments...

But songwriting, not even close... Cobain wins here

Cobain. I'm not a huge fan of the Foo Fighters, but I do have to say that there probably isn't a person alive who seems to enjoy his life more than David Grohl. I'd rather be Grohl, or hang out with him. But Cobain was a better songwriter, but a factor of 10.

Grohl's just a a guy who makes me happy. I think that's pretty awesome.

Cobain.

Ppl forget how big nirvana was. I'm guessing the younger folks will pick grohl.

Foo Fighters are weak.
