seriously, after Mett we have basically an average bunch of horses in the stable, and I'm including all recent committments. And the scary thing is, we really haven't seen enough of Mett. And this is, in my opinion, an unacceptable liability to a program such as LSU's, or should be given the $ being paid to *CLM. Were there truly no prospects in the country (or elsewhere) interested in LSU remaining after GK decommited?

Why is LSU constantly plagued at the most critical position? And I'm talking since Tommy Hodson days.

why oh why oh why?

You've seen these players practice? Have any taken a snap in a game to fairly assess them?

Jamarcus ring a bell? Only the number 1 pick...no big deal.

Flynn did just fine as well.

As long as Krags stays here, the QBs will start to come in better numbers.

Some teams don't have a Mett at all, so I'd say LSU is ahead of the game. Key to all the other QBs is to develop them (coach them) into more than they were when they first came to LSU. It has been done and it can be done. Question is whether it will be done... or not.

you do know Jamarcus, Perriloux, and Matt Flynn were on the same team. Any team in the country would take that trio

I hate to agree with the OP but after Mett we are back to QB projects and athletes It would be nice to have somebody back there that has the football smarts and just naturally has it but i worry after the past few years of inconsistent play by QB projects

Not so much weak as untested. We were weak for the last four years.

check the rest of the sec back-ups. Everyone is inexperienced and/or weak so LSU is no different.

So we havent seen enough of Mett to think he will be sucessful but we have seen enough of two guys (that have never taken a snap in college) to say that they are average?

But nice troll bro.
