Just left Texas, but has had good success over the years in developing players most notably Vince Young, Colt McCoy and Major Applewhite

Dear God no. You think Crowton playcalling frustrates you? Go look up Greg Davis threads on any UT board.

I'd rather keep Crowton.

Hell no. I'd never heard the end of it from my UT co-workers. They threw a party when they found out he was leaving.

That looks like a Crowton call.

If UT fans think its stupid, then we should hire him tommorrow. I'm yet to meet a Horn fan with an even tenuous grip on reality.

I'm not saying Davis is the best coach ever, and this year's offense was terrible, but he did have an offense ranked top 20 in scoring for 10 straight years. He's doing something right.

Gets routinely shite on and I still haven't heard a good reason why yet...

A decade of top 15 offenses and everyone hates the guy.

Greg Davis was producing top 10 offenses long before Vince Young showed up. And long after. He's Texas' scapegoat.

Do you guys(and Texas fans) realize this guy had no running game? It's kind of hard to be balnced and productive in his true offense without one.It wasn't for lack of trying. They just couldn't block nor had a back that was worth a damn.
