Davis is terrible , Vince young and Colt mccoy saved this job for 7 years, just running around and making plays.

the diagram nailed it that speedy put up.

10 for 1st down, Lets to a 5 and out. stupid.

Also with the Texas Recruits to Not have any running game at all. Colt mccoy led all rushers the last 2 years at texas. He's a joke.

He can coach! He developed good players (Ricky Williams, Major Applewhite, Vince Young, Jamaal Charles, etc). He's got game (40 points per game avg over his tenure, although Big 12 sucks arse)! He had 1 bad season so Mack Brown rolled him and the rest of the staff. I am not sure if he is right for LSU but he is a damn strong football coach. Have a great day!

He didn't develop Ricky Williams. And Young didn't become spectacular until Brown decided to pull the handcuffs off of him and let him do his thing.

I'm not saying Davis is the best coach ever, and this year's offense was terrible, but he did have an offense ranked top 20 in scoring for 10 straight years. He's doing something right
