I see people all the time in jeans there when there isn't a game. Did you call to see if they have any requirements?

You'd be suprised. for a LSU gameday, I definitely think this will be the norm.

It will be the norm. I've seen shorts during early season games when it's hot. High end restaurants are dead on game day when we play at night, and late business is better than none regardless of dress.

I was in there a few weeks ago on a slow Monday and a guy had on jeans and one of those collar-less polos.

You'll be fine.

You can wear a flat bill cap backwards any day of the week there. I hate that they don't make guys remove their caps!

There really isn't any dress codes. Just wear pants and you will be fine.
I have been at lunch to that place and seen shorts and baseball caps.

Bear Bryant's skeleton was brought by a group of LSU fans after the Alabama game, and had his own seat, fwiw.

Don't worry about the dress code. I used to work there and unless things have changed jeans a polo wil be fine. There were times when country arse hicks would role in with jean shorts and a mullet. Agree that they should make guys take off their hats too.

The only thing they require is a wallet.

To be fair, you do find alot of people do still dress nice in nicer restaurants, but Ruth Chris isn't exactly fine dining.

I am with the others though, at a minimum the hat needs to come off at this place.
