Bacon is just one of those things that I prefer to eat it just on occasion and have it be fatty vs. being able to eat it more often and chosing a leaner variety.

+1 there are some things that you don't go light for. bacon and cream cheese shouldn't be substituted for the lighter variation.

I agree with the bacon but I can use light cream cheese and it doesn't really taste different to me.

I disagree with the Oscar Mayer center cut. I can't tell the difference in taste and neither can the wife.

I won't buy this brand. It must be thin enough to see through it.

I don't have a scanner and wouldn't send them anyway.

But I'm a big believer in watching fat grams and I've been into exercise all my life. I'm 5-8 151. Although I'm losing muscle as I age I still benched sets of 155 this morning and then ran 2 miles on the treadmill.

I work out 6 days a week for 2 hours a day. My waistline has gone from 31 to 33 in the past few years. It's depressing but normal I guess.

Still hella awesome! Good for you! I am trying to eat healthier as I age...but there are some things I can't compromise on.

Like...I cannot stand any kind of low fat mayo. So instead of trying to make myself eat low fat mayo that I hate...I just eat it less often.

Wrights is good and if you shop at Albertson's the bacon in the meat case is Wrights

This I did not know, ironic though I was going to answer Wrights or the Albertsons deli.

Unless I am wrapping something with it, then I use a thinner cut bacon

You and me both brother. And I will not do low fat mayo or reduced fat pork products. It's just unnatural. In fact, I hadn't had Wright bacon before and am fixing to fry up a pound before my teenagers wake up so I can enjoy a few strips.

ETA: cooked up a pack of the Wright smoked just now and it was a huge hit. Very uniform slices, not too salty, thick, but still fried up crunchy, and it didn't pop a whole lot like some do as they are getting done. Rarely does my whole family agree on something, but this is our new bacon of choice. Thanks for the referral guys!
