Heard on buddy songy today him say that if Nick saban was on the lsu sideline when the Peterson int debacle happened you better believe he would have jumped in the officials face and let him have it.

And I couldn't help but think that if it were Nick saban at that press conference before the 2007 sec championship game that instead of the "damn strong football team" comments and "have a great day," we would have gotten something much different and Nicky would have jumped ship.

Agree or disagree?

Nick Saban ws on the sidelines for LSU in 2004 when we had an even more ridiculous call at Auburn..

what is the point? why don't you make a thread about how much better a coach saban is instead.

or you can get off his nuts.

Obviously you didn't read my post...

I am not a saban supporter. I think he lacks character. I like miles because he is a man of his word.

I was pointing out that, yes we may have gotten a different reaction from saban, one that might have mirrored what we as fans wanted to see from our head coach.

But we would have gotten different reactions to other situations that we as a fan base would not have liked.

Like the way miles handled rumors of him
leaving. Saban would have jumped ship to Michigan.

Saban would have lost his mud. But then again, the loses his mud for even less important things.

Saban wouldn't of let the media interfer with his game prep for Tenn. He wouldn't of even addressed it. After the game he would of said he's perfectly happy at LSU and he has not been contacted by anyone. If I were a repoter, I'd ask if Jimmy Sexton has been contacted by anyone. Anyway, after the nat. champ. game, he'd get on a plane and meet somewhere like Memphis and sign the contract with the new school.

That's what Saban does. He wins a Bowl game and leaves. He throws temper tantrums like a toddler. Watch the difference in him and Les on the sideline. Les is respectable. He doesn't make himself look like a tard and personally I admire that.

Have you ever seen Les speak to reporters when his team is coming out for the second half?

There is yoour problem. I admit the sports talk radio here in Bham sucks, but I believe buddy might be worse. If LSU won back to back NC Buddy would still be talking about Saban and complaining about Les.

Agree and agree.

I actually think Miles was going to go to Michigan before it blew up all over ESPN.

He was, at the least, going to talk to them. When he saw it was all over the news, he back tracked.

Technically, is that really considered speaking?

saban probably would have left in 07 just like he did in 04.
