My roommate had not been keeping up with the series so he bought all of them and I have been watching a lot of them with them (second time through the series) and I just don't get all the hate... people say that it isn't funny and that it is not creative but then love shows like Dexter where half of the show is the same who am I going to kill and the other half is how am I going to cover it up. That is the uncreative show, IMO.

What is with the hate that Entourage gets?

There is absolutely no character growth and every crisis is resolved in a way that by and large returns to the status quo.

That show sucks. It's clearly made for preps and for the guys who have to dress up just to go to the store and buy a bag of candy.

Turtle grew with Saigon.

Drama with his series 5 Towns or whatever it is called.

E hasn't really grown. But he did have a threesome with these two:

Give me examples of Entourage's creativity.

If the show was centered around Ari, Vince and his boys were side characters and if they allowed actions to have long term consequences, I would enjoy this show considerably more.

I have read that the series will make a turn towards featuring E and his growing management company this year

the show was supposed to be about him anyway

I get a kick out of critic snobs who can't watch a show without delving into bullshite like "Character Growth". It's a fricking T V show.

I used to really love it...but last season it was just a big disappointment. Same old same old but with a ton more nudity thrown in for no reason.

1) Every crisis is just magically fixed and the good guys always win

2) Too many old recycled plot devices/bits of dialogue.

3) There's no character growth, or what there is blows.

4) It seems to be an excuse to throw naked chicks on the screen

5) The entire series seems to be a way to suck in guys since all of the plot lines I've ever seen essentially say if you do really irresponsible "man" things you can be awesome like these guys.

All in absolutely lack of creativity.

Exactly, I don't watch because I think it is real and I sure as hell don't watch cause the story is interesting. I watch cause the ridiculousness of it all and the retarded shite they get into. If I wanted a story with development, I'd read a book. I want a wasted thirty minutes of cheap entertainment and for that reason alone I will continue to watch.

Dexter is ten times the show that Entourage is, but Entourage is still a great show to watch.
