It's more of a name, getting Orgeron. Dude isn't exactly bright. Just because Meat Market was written and our D quit against "his" talent at Ole Miss, he's a god.

I'm past it now. I'm happy that we have Chavis. I love the way our team played in the bowl. JJ and RS will be pretty damn fun to watch, and we've got a stable of running backs coming back. It's a good time to be a tiger fan.

Not sure what O was thinking to conclude UT was a better fit.

You can take the boy from Galiano, but you can't take the Galiano from the boy.

Okay, so he burn all remaining bridges in Louisiana. If they are paying him 900K a year I guess he figures he can retire on that. So much to wanting to live and work in his home state. He must really hate LSU.

As I have been saying all along, O is NOT ESSENTIAL. Chavis is. I would like to have him, but I can see more ego, trouble, and conflict with him than getting Haley and letting Chavis and Miles put their staff together. I am not bothered by O going to Tennessee.

Say what you want, but Yaw Yaw Orgeron would've helped us alot on the recruiting trails. He's a warrior on the trails. Don't know if Chevis is willing to get after it like Yaw Yaw is...as far as the D-Line though, I agree we can find someone just as good. However, they don't make many recruiters like Coach O...

But I'm pretty sure the rantards are all about making Russell Shepherd or Jordan Jefferson the recruiting coordinators anyway. Those guys are gods...

LSU should not pay him more than $100k less than Chavis -- his DC and boss !! Let him go and go get Haley or Jeffcoat.

So what! He couldn't make it as a player in the SEC or at LSU. He couldn't make it as a coach in the SEC. Why the hell do we care about this muscle bound idiot. Screw him. Look at what he is missing out on. Kiffin won't last 4 seasons at UT and I predicet that Yaw Yaw won't last 2.

You are one stupid frick. Players sign up with schools and overall programs and Chavis and Miles are decent men that intelligent recurits and parents can see through. Lane Kiffen is a yellow shitting Daddy's boy who needs Pappa to teach him what to do. This is not a strong image and Coach wife beater will go down with him.

I agree with Tigerinasia, too. I'm disappointed that O isn't coming to LSU, but it would have been a high risk/reward type of move. The rewards would have been another strong recruiter to go with what we've already accomplished, but the risk was the loss of chemistry with too many cooks spoiling the stew. We had enough of that this year. If they all got along we could have had the best coaching staff in the country, but if they feuded it could have imploded. If we bring in Brick Haley, we may have an even better coaching staff, and Les has proven he can recruit.

I would have liked to have had Coach O, but I'm content in the knowledge that we cost UT at least $200K every freakin year.

Right because Tennessee and LSU are fierce rivals, and any good or bad thing to happen to UT affects LSU in some way....come on.

If Tennessee is good, then its just another thorn in Bama, which helps you guys out.
