I am pretty much in the same boat. My wife knew i had a gun addiction before we got married but for some reason now it is a problem. She told me I can't get any more until I have a better place to put them. I plan on building an 8x10 safe room with plenty of room for gun expansion

I cant figure out why she doesnt like going in a closet full of shotguns and rifles to get her shoes in the morning.

I use cash. My wife really didn't know how many guns that I owned until I had to list them all for new home owners insurance.

She made the statement "how much money do you have in guns?"

I replied that I didn't have as much in guns as she has in jewelry.

She didn't mention it again.

Dead gum man. Thats like Michael Waddells trophy room that T-bone tried to break out of.

My CFO (mrs demon) says we aint got the funds to feed my firearm addiction. I've thought about selling a few to buy something else but I cant pick anything to get rid of.

My dad has bought a few guns and roughed them up a little bit to tell my mom that he'd had them for forever.

THe problem I have is I am a hoarder when it comes to firearms. I just can't part with them. Doesn't matter if they haven't been taken of the rack in 10+ years. I usually only buy one or two a year but even at that slow pace it doesn't take long to get a good size collection going. I think the biggest problem with the wife is that she is scared of guns and sees them as dangerous weapons where as I view them the same as a fishing rod or power tool

My wife said I can't buy anymore until we build a house.

Several ways I found around it;
Bonus money
Tax return money
cash jobs money
put $50 or so in savings each month
pull $50 or so out of the atm every month
buy somewhere that does interest free financing and pay small notes and don't tell her.

Or tell her she can't buy anymore purses/shoes/jewelry until you can have another gun.

If only that would work in my case. My wife is a miser and barely ever indulges herself with clothes/jewelry etc...

I for the life of me can't figure out why women are crazy enough to think they can change someone after marriage. If we were smart we would rent the pussy by the hour a few nights a week and do what the frick we want the rest of the time.

This is a win win!! Get safe. Get new gun home and into safe. Then when you take it out and wife says I've never seen that one, you just say I've had it for years.... Once gun is in safe, you are safe.

Yeah my wife stays at home and I make all the money yet there is hell to pay if you don't include the wife on a big purchase. Guess they have to feel important or something.
