Grandma made some great Souse.....never had any other brand but Grandma's.

But I can think of a lot of things better.

no need for hot sauce. But yeah on a saltine with a bourbon is pretty hard to beat. Bourgeois or Bergeron's for the win if you are around Schriever, LA. or Port Allen, La.

On a saltine with hot sauce? I think that flavor is called "Poor".

If you mix it into instant ramen you can taste "Poverty".

My great aunt made an awesome head cheese. My mom has the recipe. Def need to get it from her. It was better than any other I've tried. There is a place in NOLA that makes a good one. Called Terrranovas on esplanade and only make it on Mondays

Tritler's in Picayune is hard to beat. He evacuated there from St. Bernard. Good stuff just don't get over there enough to get some.

Head cheese from Jerry Lee's in Central (suburb of Baton Rouge) is the best I've ever eaten.

You seem to get easily confused re: what board you're posting on.
