Whole Foods does not serve alcohol though. The sell alcohol but it is not served there.

You are 100% correct.
OC is no alcohol consumed on premises.
CC is majority of sales need to be food and cannot be in the bar area.
There are different types of licenses to describe what I said above but I cannot remember what they are.

That's is why I got my concealed carry. Open carry may be "legal" in NOLA, but you will get harassed by NOPD.
What I find amazing is they treat the mere presence of a gun this way. However, when some one is killed they rarely solve the crime. When a gun was pulled on me they refused to classify it as an assault but downgraded it to a little civil misdemeanor called "disturbing the peace". NOPD; I can't say much good about them.

You wouldn't expect that LEO to go confront a gang banger in the projects, would you?
It's a whole safer to attack a man exercising his legal rights.
NOPD is a disgrace. It doesn't matter if you have CCL or not, they will steal your gun.
