Bought one y-day. Really like the gun and the way it shoots but I have ordered the Apex trigger kit for it.

What holster do ya'll use. I will most likely get an IWB.

I don't mind the sights on it and actually think they are pretty good. I guess maybe I wish they were adjustable but not sure that would make any difference at all.

I shot it a around 50-60 times and it ran flawlessly. Very accurate as well. At 7yds My target was a 50yd rifle target with a black circle around 2 inches in diameter. After the 1st 3 shots, I was getting a little made as I thought I wasn't hitting the target but all were inside the black and I just couldn't see them.

No you don't. In my opinion, adjustable sights on a defensive weapon is literally begging for trouble.

Competition? Sure. But, your defense weapon needs to be calibrated at the factory and locked in tight.

Other than a holster all I'd do is night sights.

It seems like people have good luck with those Gcode Incog holsters.

I actually told them I wanted the H&K VP9 but the only one they had was the display. It had some of the finished knocked off and they wouldn't discount it so I bought the Shield instead.

And I don't disagree on the sights.
I am looking forward to getting the apex kit in though.

Yes.

As far as holters, I like leather more so than Kydex or hybrids. If you can live w/ leather and you decide to go iWB, I'd suggest looking at Side Guard Holsters. I have one of their Tuck Clip models that I use to cc a Kahr CW45. I really like the holster. It balances well and is much easier to put on/take off since it has just one clip. Turnaround was quick (for a custom holster) and the price was very reasonable.

I could be remembering wrong, but I'm pretty sure you have to remove the rear sight to install some of the APEX components. And the rear sights used to (probably still do) leave the factory with red Loctite holding the set screw in place.

My point is -- if you're gonna be installing the APEX kit (and I think you'll definitely like it), that'll be a real handy time to install night sights.

p.s. The rear sight is adjustable for windage (You'll need a sight pusher tool). But at "common" self-defense distances (21 feet and under) you're probably GTG if you center the rear sight in the groove.

You do have to remove the rear sight to install the Apex kit, and I agree you might as well change out the sights then. I also got some Talon grips, which I really like.

Sure do. I haven't tried a WHOLE lot of holsters, but have been through the main ones: Crossbreed, N82, and the Aliengear. The crossbreed horsehide was comparable in comfort, but for the price and the lifetime Kydex shell trade-in, AlienGear all the way. Couldn't get used to the twist retention on the N82.

ETA- The newer AlienGears look even better than the original straight leather one I have from years ago.

Cool, thanks for the info. They have a 2 holster deal now. I am going to order the cloak 3 and an owb for my shield. With shipping its around $70. You can also get different plastics for $10.

The screw on mine came out easily, however pressing/tapping the sight out was a pain in the arse. Trijicon HD night sights go in a lot easier than the factory ones come out fwiw.
